Stax Around The World
While Stax Records struggled to get their own label in the UK, they did appear in other countries. Below are some examples from Canada, France, Germany, Holland, Jamaica, Portugal and an Atlantic issue from Spain. Some European records were issued in picture sleeves giving added interest. | Germany This is a typical European 'moulded' label from the 1970s. On the plus side - this one came in a nice picture cover. |

| Holland Another 'Goodee'. This time with three logos - 'Hip', 'Paramount' and an unusual 'Stax Records' |

| Jamaica These look like bootlegs to me. The pressing and sound quality are very poor and there are no matrix numbers in the run-out groove. |

| Portugal This came in a 'Schweppes' promotional sleve. Unfortunately it has been covered in scribbles so it is not worth showing. |
