The label was owned by Billy Butler and Jerry Butler and only issued five singles before going bust in 1971. Even so, every one is a gem ! James Spencer's 'Take This Woman' is nice early funk and has appeared on funk compilation CDs. The Girls are a complete unknown - but great nevertheless. Billy Butler never fails to impress and this time he's funky! The two Ollie Nightingale 45s were produced by Gene (Bowlegs) Miller - need I say more...
